QR codes

The QR studio — dot styles, marker shapes, colors, and formats.

Updated View as Markdown

Every short link automatically has a QR code. The code encodes the short URL, not the destination — so on paid plans you can change where the link points and every printed code keeps working.

The designer

Open any link and click the QR preview (or click the QR while creating a link). You can style:

Option Choices
Dot style Normal squares · Dots · Connected lines
Marker border Square · Rounded · Circle
Marker center Square · Dot
Colors Separate dot color and marker color
in.bio badge Shown in the center by default; hiding it is Pro+

The preview is rendered by the exact same engine as your downloads — what you see is what prints.

Downloads

  • PNG — for screens, documents, and quick sharing.
  • SVG — vector, for print at any size from a sticker to a billboard.

The free QR generator

There’s also a stand-alone QR code generator that needs no account and supports URLs, text, email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, Wi-Fi, and vCards. Codes made there are static — the data is baked in, they never expire, and they don’t depend on INBIO. The trade-off: they can’t be edited or tracked. For editable, trackable codes, use a short link’s QR.
