## What happens at a limit

- **Link quota reached** — existing links keep working; you can't create new
  ones until the period resets or you upgrade.
- **Tracked-click quota** — redirects always keep working. We never break a
  link over billing.
- **Downgrading** — links using paid features keep their settings; you can
  clear but not re-add them.

## Billing mechanics

Payments run on Stripe (cards via Stripe Checkout). Upgrades apply
immediately with proration; cancellations keep paid features until the end of
the period. Invoices live under **Billing**, and subscription state always
comes from Stripe — never from the browser.
